Two thank yous...one is actually genuine.

Thank you, City of Federal Way, that your automatic teller, I mean, traffic cameras don't recognise that right turn on red is legal, and that you declared that such is "No Defense" . I'm really having fun looking for things of value to sell on E Bay so I can pay your damn fine and still be able to take my husband out on the (belated) dinner out to the Elysian he really wanted for his birthday. Trouble is, when you need to try and sell your possessions to pay a traffic fine, you usually can't afford to have much of value in the first place. I guess I should be thankful that you lowered the fine for, I don't know, trying, but that's still about a third of my pay for the MONTH that I am looking to pay.
So to you, a thank you that is pronounced differently than I spelled it.
Of course, this means I will be a LESS safe driver now, as I will be more than concerned about another traffic fine than the fact that a sudden stop at a red light to avoid your automatic cash machines dinging me again than I am of being rear ended.
On the other hand... I also got in the mail yesterday an envelope from the library system. I thought it HAD to be bad news too ( who lost what book this time?) and I was opening it Brian said, "It's not like the library is going to send you money". Well...not quite but almost! I got a $5 Starbucks gift card for participating in Take Time to Read! Yay!!! A heartfelt Thank you to you, King County Library System!
