Happy Thanksgiving!

So far we have gotten two pies made- my pumpkin and Olivia's apple (which is mostly gone by now). I am taking advantage of having the DM home to get a bunch of writing done for various places- work, SCOOP, and the Therm.
Soon we'll take a walk to deal with all we'll eat later.

Home repair!

For the past three days two gentlemen from the church have been here, helping out with needed repairs we couldn't do on our own. The kids have new windows amd they are replacing the modly bathroom floor. They took off the toilet so I could paint Kilz behind there and while I had it out, got the spot in the boys room where it always drips and molds. I am so very grateful for my church.

Danger Boy

Andrew does not learn from pain. When we left the ortho's office after getting his cast, he jumped down the stairs, multiple steps at a time. On Tuesday he tried to jump out of nexus's apple tree, only this time he slipped his arms through the straps of a plastic shopping bag for a parachute. The next day he climbed up a 7 foot fence. I have to keep him in my sight at all times to save him from himself.
