And coming up next

I think I may have to take us down the gluten free road. Although HRH's tests for Celiacs and wheat allergy came up neg, the symptoms are still there. I know if I don't give it a try, I'll wonder if I'm damaging her and will regret it. Sigh. This will take some work.

How old is she, Goji? the screeniing is said to be pretty effective for the over-5s. I think I'm going to get me and the LSG tested and, if we have it, extrapolate that the LSB does also. But I really want to just find out we don't and be relieved. All 3 of us have some classic symptoms but are much more unbothered by them than we would be by the GF diet. If we really have it, though, there could be serious complications later on so of course we need to check. Let's keep talking about this. We need lots of info.!

She is 6- she was first tested right before her 6th birthday. I DH thinks I should go GFDF too, because of the big black bags that have always, always been under my eyes.

We have those too but doctors have told us they are 'allergy shiners' - we are hayfever people. If it really is CD, the dairy might not be a real problem. I've read the lactose intolerance is often a symptom of the CD damage and goes away on the GF diet.
