God is in our tree

Last night, as I said prayers with my newly 4 Turbo, he tells me. "God was in our tree. He was in there with Jesus and Mary. They shook the tree so flowers would fall on my head. Then they flew away."
He also told me, "God was there on my baby water birthday at church. He was walking with Jesus and Mary. They walked around the church, then went away."

I wonder, is he a visionary, or just imaginative?

Oh, has she?

That's what she says. I'm hoping it's a phase. She is furious that I keep making her go to First Day School (although she has fun once she's there).

Hi guys,
thought I would join blogdom and say hi to you both.

gogi, that shawl is absolutely gorgeous. I love the color with you dark hair.

And maybe your boy is both imaginative and a visionary. I do like how he seems to see these powerful symbols as kind and interested in him, not as remote and angry. I wish I had half that much spiritual maturity.

Lone Star Ma, I didn't know you were a Quaker. Your daughter sounds like quite a girl.

Hi!!! Yes, I'm Quaker and trying to raise the family so...honestly, since the child does accept Quaker values, you would think there would be little left to rebel against in such a non-dogmatic religion, but she finds a way.

You are in Texas, too, right? Are you coming to the LLL State conference here in Corpus next weekend? We could meet!

No, I am in Seattle and actually closer to Gogi.

I consider myself a Quaker, although I have not been officially deputized (if there is such a thing). So I was interested that you are as well.

Welcome, Brit :) I like your take on it. I too am glad he sees God, Jesus, et al as accessable beings who want to play with him:)

LSM- do you think it's real, or is she just gauging your reactions?

I think it's about half and half - she is fascinated in and relates to Greek mythology but she has a deep rebellion about religion when it comes to me...

Brit, I thought it was you and teach who lived in Texas also; now I am all confused about who the other one is...wow. I have to think...

I love kids, they have quite an imagination. After Jesus left your tree, he went to visit my niece. She said, "Jesus took her socks off". Don't you just love them!

Your shawl is beautiful.
