You don't have to be around me long to know how I feel about spanking. I think it's wrong, and not in any way different than a man hitting his wife. Things like this however go way beyond the normal scope of that, and make me sick and angry. What could be more evil than to seperate a child from the love of his parents and from God? And is there much that would do that more effectively than saying, "God wants me to hit you with plumbing line"? The Pearls are evil, no two ways about it, and they murdered this poor child just as much as his mother did.
