I read her books faster than about any other.
Beyond Tears-Living after losing a child Even though the mamas writing this lost adult children, it's good to hear these stories. I'll survive this.
I'm re-reading Goblet of Fire, and also reading Sorcerer's Stone to HRH for her bedtime story. One chapter at a time, 6 books- this should last us at least a year. I love reading bedtime stories, but hate waiting 10 minutes for a kid to choose one.

I've been so bad about reading to my girl the last two years. Before that, I always read for a loong time, but now we rarely manage to fit it in. I've been reading the first Harry Potter to her since Christmas. We always, in the past, have read a series of books that she got for Christmas throughout the year, but I am about to give up on these. I think I'll finish reading her this one and then have her read the others to herself so we can start a new series (a shorter one) at this Christmas.
Don't you just love Anne Lamott? She just always makes my heart smile. I love that woman.
