Another proud geek-parenting moment

Yesterday, the Warlord started teaching HRH The Fairy Princess how to play Magic the Gathering. She now fits the criteria to play- she can read and do simple computations. JHe made her a fairy/merfolk deck he's been working on for several years. They played Two Headed Giant with Boy Caesar and Neighbor Boy, and the sweet girlie won her first game. I haven't been so proud since Turbo learned to say, "Luke, I am your father".

i want to teach my son to play magic! he asks about my cards every so often, but he hasn't reached the magickal literate & strategic age necessary. truly though, i cannot wait, because dh is not interested in the least, and i have not played in many a year.

Geek-parenting moment indeed! But so adorable!!! :)

"Luke, I am your father..." Now that's definitely one to remember!

I love your new design.

The new design is way cool. I can't figure out how to make the code I copied for links work...
