Happy Birthday, baby boy

You would be two today. I'm making you a hat, and I only hope the baby who ends up wearing it will have a long, healthy life. We miss you all, every day. I love you.

And now for some shameless attention whoring

I recently read in Seattle magazine that the way to get you blog read is to post you opinion on strange, cutting edge politics. (their example was gay kayaking). So here goes, I will piss everyone off and hopefully get some hits: ( hey, while this is like my public diary, truth is, I would love to be widely read)
Computer controlled traffic. I want it. I don't know if it will prevent crashes or road rage ( though it seems to me that it would). I just want to see all the obnoxious, "traffic rules don't apply to me" gits out there to be forcibly slowed down.
So flame me.

My little writer

Turbo can now write his first name! My little one is growing up. The Boy got him to write the names of a few Pokemon today- he can read quite a few. I hate to admit it but we might be making him a Pokedex for language arts.

Grey

It's been raining for days again- stressful and nervewracking as the kids are cooped up inside with their energy, and with the seasonal depression it makes the days hard. Less than 2 weeks now, until the anniversery. On NPR last night they had a piece about missing angel legislation- legislation to give birth certificates to those of us who birthed a still baby.
I feel like if only the sun would shine this would all be easier.

Slate article on spanking

http://www.slate.com/id/2158310

You all know, I look for any chance to get out the "no-spanking" message. I hope to see spanking outlawed in our country sooner rather than later.

I think the final line in this article helps to sum it up: But then parents have near infinite amounts of power over their kids.

Be sure to follow the links at the bottom, too!
